If you're a lover of all things chocolate, we sure have the game for you. We’re here to make dessert time even better by adding the sweet taste of victory. The Chocolate Game is a favourite on our Kids’ Camps - and we want to bring all that fun to you at home!
With a carer's supervision, this game is suitable for all ages. You can definitely use this one at your next party but, until then, enjoy all of the intensity and laughter of the Chocolate Game today!
What you’ll need:
One block of chocolate (whatever flavour you desire!)
A knife and fork per player - make sure Mum or Dad know about this one!
Gloves for each player
Time to play!
Unwrap your chocolate bar and place it on a paper plate (resist the temptation to eat it all instantly!)
With the cutlery and gloves beside the plate, each player takes it in turn to roll both the dice.
You want to roll matching numbers on both dice, aka a double!
When a double is rolled, the player must put on a pair of gloves and use the knife and fork to cut a piece of chocolate and eat it!
You may only cut then eat one piece of chocolate at a time.
When another player rolls a double, the chocolate is passed to them and it is their turn to try and cut and eat the chocolate.
Don’t forget your gloves!
You’ve got to be quick!
If a double is not rolled, the dice are passed to the next player.
The person who eats the last bit of chocolate is the winner!
Although, with plenty of chocolate to share, everyone is a winner here!
If you don’t have everything you need, don't worry as there are still ways you can play.
The gloves are added excitement but if you don’t have some at home, play without!
If you only have one dice, choose a number that everyone must roll to try and cut the chocolate.
For something a bit more difficult:
Add some maths to the game!
Players must add or times the numbers from each dice. If the player answers correctly, they can try and cut the chocolate!
We hope you have the best of fun playing The Chocolate Game. We’d love to see it as well! Share all the excitement with us by posting with the hashtag #CampQuality.
