How To Make Easy (And Cheap) Clay Christmas Ornaments

Join Tania as she explains her Christmas tradition of collecting decorations for her family's tree, and shows you how to make your very own out of oven-baked clay!


Clay Christmas tree decorations are a quick, easy and beautiful craft - perfect as a family activity or even as a personalised present for friends.


We will learn how to make a very special marbled colour pattern, but you can also be creative will all sorts of patterns, shades and shapes. You can even experiment with gluing some tinsel or sparkles to your ornaments to add some fun, festive cheer!


What you'll need:

  • Oven bakable clay from a craft store such as Spotlight

  • Baking paper

  • Paper-lined baking tray

  • Rolling pin

  • Cutting board

  • Cookie-cutter, scissors or craft knife to make the shapes

  • Ribbon or twine

  • An oven!
